The X-Factor winner has stormed the chart with debut track 'Impossible'...
Last weekend's X-Factor winner James Arthur is at the top of the Irish Singles chart this week with 'Impossible'. It's a double-whammy for the show's creator Simon Cowell, as both Arthur and One Direction (who are top of the album chart) are signed to his Syco label. Ch-ching!
At No. 2 in the Singles chart this week is 'Tiny Dancer - A Song For Lily-Mae'. The track features Declan O'Rourke, Paddy Casey, Mary Black, Mal of The Riptide Movement and a host of other Irish names, and proceeds from sales are going to Claregalway girl Lily-Mae Morrison. The four-year-old is sadly suffering from Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare and extremely aggressive childhood cancer of the nervous system.
The Lumineers meanwhile are at No. 3 with 'Ho Hey', while Bruno Mars is this week's No. 4 with 'Locked Out Of Heaven'. UK rapper Labrinth, featuring Scot singer Emeli Sandé are at No. 5 with 'Beneath Your Beautiful'.
