The Pav will host two of Ireland's most exciting young bands
Time, they tell us, is a flat circle.
The Southern Hospitality Board well and truly earned the cap-doffing aimed their direction last year, when they reacted to the closure of the beloved Pavilion by working to rehouse some of the gigs left without a venue. Now, they're planning their first birthday bash - in the resurrected Pav itself - and have lined up an incredible double bill for the night.
Recent Rough Trade signees Girl Band will be tearing up the Carey's Lane venue, on an evening which will also see local favourites The Altered Hours hitting the stage.
We're told that more acts will be announced for the October 3 knees-up, but we're already totally sold. Early bird tickets at €12 (which we suspect won't last too long) and general admission tickets at €15 (which could well disappear sharpish too) are on sale from this Friday.
