Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James signed a recording deal with Believe Recording UK last Friday on his 21st Birthday.
The artist joins Believe’s growing roster which already includes fellow Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow.
Gavin's manager Edison Waters said they were delighted to have signed Gavin to such a progressive label: "Believe is the perfect home for Gavin and we are looking forward to working with Stephen King and his team.”
On his Facebook page this week, Gavin posted a live video showing his cover of 'At Last' by the late Etta James played in Tower Records for the launch of the shortest night album in aid of the Dublin Simon Community.

His cover of the song is featured on the Charity album The Shortest Night, an album in aid of the Dublin Simon Community which also features Villagers, Jape, Mik Pyro, Bipolar Empire and was released on June 22. Read our review of the album, here.
Gavin supported Ingrid Michaelson at her sell out Whelan's show on June 29 and will be supporting Nouvelle Vague at Cyprus Avenue (July 20) and at Dolans (21). He will also be playing at the Indiependence Festival on August 3.
