They've also been working with rock royalty!
Bipolar Empire have made it through to the semi-final stages of the UK’s Fast Track To FIB 2010 contest, which will whisk the winners off to Spain’s Benicassim festival in July to appear alongside the likes of Kasabian, The Prodigy, Vampire Weekend and Dizzee Rascal.
The Grand Final is on June 8 in Vince Power’s Pigalle Club, but to get there they need to make the top 5 of the Fast Pack public vote, which runs online until Monday May 10.
Of the 2,000 acts that entered Fast Track, 40 of them have made it on to the ballot paper.
“It would be great to play at the final in London and it’s so exciting to know that we’re reaching a whole new audience,” enthuses the band’s Shane O’Reilly. “We have everything crossed that this will bring a record company on board so that our tunes get to an even wider audience!”

In addition to angling for some quality beach time, the band have been in Pinewood Studios working with former 10cc and Godley & Crème man Kevin Godley on his WHOLE WORLD BAND audio-visual project.
