We feel a little bit cheated on this one!
Here we are investing time and emotion into Beyoncé's Lemonade, examining the significance of each lyric and how it reflects upon her relationship with rap mogul Jay-Z.
Only to find out that it has been time completely wasted. As Lemonade moves chronologically though a troubled relationship (or what we thought initially thought was one!), the album progresses into a stage of forgiveness and love. Que 'Love Drought', a ballad displaying the strength of a relationship as they come through a severely rough patch of extra-marital affair accusations. Turns out, that's all bullshit that us poor aul fools fell for.
Sitting down with Genius was Ingrid Burley who officially penned 'Love Drought'. Here you have it guys, the real meaning behind 'Love Drought'.
Moral of the story? Trust no one, not even Beyoncé.
