Cornershop release their new album Handcream For A Generation on Wiija Recordings on March 29th. In the prevailing manner of Tjinder Singh and co. it?‘s a typically eclectic and vibrant, if less than cohesive record, featuring various confabulations of Bollywood/bigbeat/disco/rock/whatever you?‘re having yourself. (Not to mention a good fourteen minutes worth of tranced-out collaboration with Noel Gallagher.)

The guitar-driven summery sound of Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky III?‘ gets the Hot Press nomination as the first great single of the (hopefully forthcoming) summer. Hear also Motion The 11?‘, a righteous reggae dub masterpiece.
