He's on Saturday breakfast duty throughout the summer
Ending his radio sabbatical on July 2 is Ray Foley who’s assuming control of the Cork Red FM Saturday breakfast show for the next 12 weeks.
“I’m delighted to be joining Cork’s number one radio station!” enthuses Ray who was last heard waking Dublin up on 98FM. “I’ve been a fan of Red FM for many years because they’re one of the best radio stations in the country.”
The move reunites him with former Today FM colleague Keith Cunningham who’s the Red Programme Director.
“After receiving 600 daily demos from Ray, we have decided that it’s time to give him a slot,” KC jokes. “Foley is a super talent on air. Delighted to have him with Cork’s Number 1 station.”
Where he ends up post-September 17 remains to be seen…
