Irish jazz musician David Lyttle has release a new video for 'Questions', a gorgeous track taken from his recently released Interlude album.
A household name in Irish jazz for a number of years now, Interlude is earning David Lyttle serious recognition outside of jazz as an urban producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. You can read the Hot Press review of the record here.
The record is packed full of class, with plenty of interesting collaborations including MOBO winning Soweto Kinch, Brooklyn's iLLspokinN and UK rapper/vocalist Homecut.
2012 was a busy year for Lyttle that included a successful US press tour and playing live shows all over the world including a performance with Soweto Kinch at Morocco's Gnaoua Festival in June. Closer to home, Lyttle also headlined a double bill with iconic DJ Gilles Peterson at Sligo Jazz Festival in July, and gave a memorable drum masterclass at the Hot Press MUSIC SHOW in the RDS.
