Their gig is a part of the Dublin: One City One Book campaign.
Throughout the month of April, a whole array of events will take place across the capital city to encourage people to read and discuss James Joyce's renowned collection of short stories Dubliners.
Today brings the announcement that a very special show will take place at the National Concert Hall on Friday April 13 to make the campaign a little musical.
Legendary Irish folk act The Dubliners (named, as you might guess, after the work) will headline, whilst Joycean singers The Shannon Colleens and Noel O'Grady will perform. The line-up also includes comedian David McSavage and Dublin writers Peter Sheridan and Dermot Bolger.
Tickets are priced at €20 & €25 (with concessions available). Head to [link]www.nch.ie[/link] for more details.
Aside from that big gig, there will be readings taking place in venues such as The Bailey Bar, Jameson's Distiller and the Dublin Writers Museum, walking and cycling tours around the city, exhibitions and much more at the James Joyce Centre, National Library and National Gallery. The majority of the events are free.
