Black Keys cancel European dates
The band hoped to reschedule gigs in Europe following a serious shoulder injury sustained by drummer Patrick Carney.
The Black Keys have been forced to cancel a total of 17 concerts in Europe after one half of the rock duo dislocated his shoulder in early January.
Singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney said in a statement that they had hoped to reschedule the dates but prior commitments and venue availability made it impossible.
Carney was injured while swimming on the island of Saint Barthélemy on January 3, causing the cancellation of all dates between then and March 10.
