Rock The Vote is urging those who haven’t registered to vote to get their name on the supplementary register. The register closes on May 5th. Patrick Cosgrave – Executive Director of Rock The Vote said “It’s extremely important that we use our right to vote. It’s important that politicians see what young people think and that they act upon it. It’s now up to you, to get your point across. Use your voice – Vote”.

In the last general election one candidate in Limerick West won a seat by just one vote. Several other candidates across the country fought extremely tight elections.
