The song also has guest vocals from Portlaoise indie/alternative singer Kean Kavanagh. Kavanagh not only features in the track but also produced it alongside Brin.

KhakiKid has also released the music video for Rude, directed by award-winning filmmaker Robert Bass.

The visuals depict the three artists placing them in a series of scenarios, from performing on a small stage, riding a car, to an offbeat boxing ring sequence that ends with Kojaque putting KhakiKid in a chokehold.

Following the release of Moved On, Favela, and Soul, Rude is the fourth track the Irish-Lybian artist has released from his upcoming EP Girl Bites Dog, which is set to be released on April 17.

Elsewhere, the EP features Kildare singer Joe Butler on Shoes Up, the only track of the extended-play to be released.

8-Tracks features eight songs selected from the band's discography between 1971 and 1979, encompassing music from some of the English band's most successful and celebrated records.

The tracklist includes songs fromMeddle(1971),Obscured by Clouds(1972),The Dark Side of the Moon(1973),Wish You Were Here (1975),Animals(1977), and The Wall(1979).

The record features Money, Wish You Were Here, Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2, and Time.

Other tracks that were selected were Comfortably Numb, One Of These Days, Wot's... Uh The Deal, as well as the exclusive full version of Pigs On The Wing, which had previously been available on the 1977 Animalseight-track cartridge release.

The track sequence was edited by rock musician and producer Steven Wilson, who remixed the audio for the 2025 release of Pink Floyd. Live At Pompeii - MCMLXXII. The sequence is said to have been edited using sounds from the original multitracks to make for a continuous listening experience.

Pink Floyd's last studio album, The Endless River, was released in 2014 and was based on unreleased material from The Division Bell (1994) recording sessions.

In 2022, the rock band released the track Hey, Hey, Rise Up in protest of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Kruger further teases out the enduring relevance of the story.

Women were much more socially constrained back then, she adds. But we are here today because of women like Isabelle and Rosemonde their rage, battles and striving for freedom. So its always a great opportunity to look back and try to understand what it meant for them. What were the costs? They were empowering themselves and looking for sexual liberty.

Its that idea of being a woman and taking ownership of your own desires, your own body. All those things that have been acquired but we are here because of their thoughts and feelings. So it is modern, because we still want to move forward in all these areas.

WithThe Seductionbeing helmed by a female director, Jessica Palud, how do the cast feel this frames the stylistic approach?

A woman understands the female characters, maybe not better, but in a more accurate way than men could do it, says Vartolomei. Around the subjects of sexuality, eroticism,seduction, we maybe felt more valued, and not reduced to something we might have already seen onscreen. I mean, I worked with Jessica before on the filmMaria, and we really wanted to work together again.

We kind of made a promise that if we reunited, it would be with a more challenging role. Isabelle was perfect, so I was thrilled to work with her again.

Those shows and films that look through the female gaze are still too few, says Kruger. More than ever, we need to hear female voices. So Im really proud this is a fresh adaptation of a very typical male story, which has usually been portrayed from that point of view, and which takes another look at it from the female gaze.

In terms of the shows sexual politics, Kruger further notes the satisfying complexity of a role like Madame de Rosemonde.

When I first read it, I had a lot of empathy for her, she reflects. She comes across as quite harsh and manipulative, but throughout the show, youll see a woman who has so much rage inside of her. She has chosen to live a life thats not been dominated by men, even though she lives in a mans world. Shes confined and limited by those rules men made for her, although shes one of the first to break out of it.

She lives her life almost like a man she chose not to marry, she takes lovers as she pleases. And yet she has aged in a society which is even more so than today youth obsessed. So for her to be able to continue living the life she wants, she gets the idea of taking Isabelle under her wing. She wants to profit from that introduction, and go back to a life she was able to function in.

All episodes ofThe Seductionwill be available to stream exclusively on HBO Max in Ireland from March 26.

The Dublin singer-songwriter is expected to achieve a hat-trick of chart toppers with his third record, predicted to follow his 2019 debut album, Without Fear, and his 2022 sophomore album Sonder, to the top of the UK chart.

The Weight of the Woods was released on April 3, but unveiled on March 21 at a special event for fans at Beyond the Trees Avondale in Coillte's Avondale Forest Park, Co.Wicklow. There, fans listened to the LP in full for the first time.

The event also included a surprise live performance from Kennedy, accompanied by Maynooth University Chamber Choir, which featured in the video released in February for Refuge live from Glenmaroon, Dublin.

Kennedy will head out on his biggest headline UK and Europe tour to date, which will end with two shows in Ireland, at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on July 11 and 12. Following his UK and Europe tour, Kennedy will tour in North America.

The track features on his forthcoming album Don+t Settle - Transmissions East, set for release on April 24 via Plateau/Secretly Distribution. Originally, it was released in 2018 on his record Between Two Shores.

The live performance video is the fourth one to have been released, following the visuals for 'Didn't He Ramble,' 'Down On Our Knees', and 'My Little Ruin,' all to feature on the upcoming LP.

Don+t Settle - Transmissions Eastwas recorded over two nights last April in front of a dedicated audience at Berlin's historic former East German radio facility, Funkhaus.

The upcoming 10-track record is said to be a career retrospective opus, a best-of collection, a live record, and a new studio album, featuring songs from Hansard's solo career as well as his work as frontman of Irish rock bandThe Frames, and half of the Oscar-winning duoThe Swell Season.

Don+t Settle - Transmissions Eastis the first release of a two-volume set. The second release,Transmission West, is set to appear later this year. Both albums have no vocal overdubs, second takes, autotune or editing.

Later this spring, Hansard will kick off his UK and Europe tour, which includes a Dublin date at Trinity College on July 2.

The news about the record was accompanied by its lead single 'Chocolate,' alongside a music video. The song is a "tale of crippling social anxiety and a preference for an unflattering, lonely reality," said the band.

"Choosing loneliness is something we all relate to. In 'Chocolate', loneliness is less of an escape and more of a surrender - losing all control makes a life of solitude easy to accept. Its accepted with warmth," they added.

Partnered with label Heist or Hit, the EP was produced by Daniel Fox.

Makeshift Art Bar, made up of Joseph Sweeney, Alleyah Boulaich, Callum McGuigan, and Callum Sweeney, blend post-punk, grunge, electornica, and garage rock.

The four-piece had their breakthrough last January, when they released their debut four-track EP Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental Reading. It peaked at No. 3 in the UK Vinyl Single Charts, reaching 210,000 streams on Spotify.

In the summer, they appeared at several festivals, including All Together Now, YPSIGROCK, and End of the Road. They kicked off their sixteen-date international headline tour in Autumn, while also claiming a number of support slots for CHALK, DITZ, and Mannequin Pussy.

In February, they were mentioned in Hot Press' Hot For 2026: Irish Acts To Watch This Year.

Alongside her five-week residency in Europe's largest indoor arena, Dion will now also be performing at the La Dfense Arena on September 18, September 25, October 2, October 9, and October 16 and 17.

On March 30, her 58th birthday, the French-Canadian singer announced her return to the stage for her first full concerts in six years, after a long battle with a rare autoimmune neurological disorder.

"Wow, it's been kind of hard keeping it a secret from myself, but I want to let you know that I'm doing great, managing my health, feeling good," Dion said."I'm singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing - I love it so much.

"So this year, I'm getting the best gift of my life. I'm getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September this year.

"I'm so happy. I'm so ready to do this. I'm feeling good. I'm strong, I'm feeling excited, obviously, of course, a little nervous. But most of all, I am grateful to all of you. I can't wait to see you again."

Dion, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin in 1988, had decided to take a break after being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (SPS).

In 2021, she cancelled her Las Vegas residency due to health concerns, before revealing her diagnosis in December of 2022 and cancelling her Courage World Tour, which included two shows in Dublin's 3Arena in April of that year.

The My Heart Will Go On singer made a brief public appearance in 2024, singing during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

In June that same year, the Grammy winner released her documentary I am: Celine Dion, in which she opened up about the challenges of her diagnosis as well as the behind-the-scenes of her career and personal life.

I had like five tracks done, and I was like, Yes! Its ready! Baxter explains. But in my gut, when we went to put the first song out, I was like, Somethings telling me its not the right time for this.

Instead, the Waterford-born, London-based artist put together four previously-written tracks to release as 2024 EP Keep Swimming, and set off to discover how the project would take shape.

The only way Id ever done a project is Ive come up with a theme and then worked backwards, Baxter says. But this one was completely different: I just started writing and the concept evolved and revealed itself over time.

Now, the project has revealed itself as an 11-track full-length her first that spans from Baxters Irish childhood through the present day.

Its a bit surreal, if Im honest, she laughs. Im ready because Ive had it for so long now, and Ive worked my ass off for this, so here you go! Enjoy, world!

Baxter recorded Seven between Dublin and Brighton with producers Benza (Chris Bubenzar) and James Berkeley.

Chris has a darker influence on his sound, Baxter says. He listens to a lot of old-school 90s hip-hop. James is super-cinematic and quite expansive, and everything feels quite light.

The divide in her producers approaches influenced how she sequenced the album.

When I started writing the project, it was with Chris, so the earlier songs are darker more shadow-leaning stuff. By the end, it moves into Jamess work, which is a lot a lot lighter, sonically and lyrically. Chriss tracks go together, and then theres a definite split in the album, and then Jamess tracks go together. It moves from darkness to light.

That darker, shadow-work mentality can be heard on Change, the albums lush and groovy opener: 1990, I was chilling / Picked up and my legs swimming / Now Im sinking in the bathtub, thinking it through.

Thats one of my favourite things Ive written in my life, Baxter says of Change. That was a struggle. That was two days back-to-back in Dublin. I will never forget the pain of trying to finish that chorus, just because it was quite revealing for me and I wanted to get it right.

And as for the back half of the album?

Magic Wand is my favourite with James. Its probably my favourite on the album, because when I wrote that, it was a really quick one. It came in like an hour. There were a lot of magical moments in this process. You dont realise how magic they are until theyre gone, and then youre like, whoa, that was so not a coincidence. When you look back at the process, it was a really fucking magic three years.

The albums title, Seven, stems from that magical serendipity.

The title came quite late, when I had finished the album, Baxter says. When I wrote the original EP, the five tracks that I had, I called it Genesis. At that time, it was because some of the tracks were unearthing growing up quite heavily influenced by the Catholic Church in Ireland and what happens when you leave.

At the time Id started reading more, not the Bible, but teachings, to understand what I was trying to say. I wasnt studying religion, but more so trying to understand the notion of God and different perceptions of higher power, what people pray to, and why you would think that doesnt exist at all I thought, This feels like a brand-new cycle, Im going to call the EP Genesis.

But Baxters plans for her title were thwarted by another songstress.

Then Raye put out a project called Genesis. It was at the time when I thought I was going to put out this EP That actually contributed to me pressing pause.

But it was Raye who indirectly inspired the name Seven.

I was listening to an interview with her, where she was talking about one of her tracks being seven minutes and seven seconds long. She was speaking about that being the last song I just stored that in my memory somewhere.

When I finished the album, I remembered seven being the number of completion, so I started to study why its so popular in the Bible, and why seven is the number of transcendence in numerology-based stuff. I was trying to understand the meaning of it from a lot of different perspectives.

Soon, Baxter was seeing so many sevens that it started to feel meant-to-be.

Seven months later, the tracks were done, and Id done seven more tracks. I started to join the dots writing the seventh track in the seventh month of the year, just weird stuff like that, you know. When I completed the cycle, the album felt done, and I said, Cool, lets go with Seven, because now it makes sense.

To help inspire the sound of Seven, Baxter brought her own Album Flow reference playlist to the studio.

Theres a lot of heavy leaning R&B on there, she says of her mix. Maverick Sabre I had Cleo Sol, as well. I was listening to a lot of old stuff. I dont really listen to a lot of new stuff , shamefully I probably should!

Over the years, Baxters genre has been the subject of great debate.

I dont know if I have a genre, she shrugs. I guess Im R&B, but I dont know. Id consider myself more soul than anything, to be honest. I think everybody is a little melting pot of what they grew up on. For me, it started out more jazz-leaning. I am a huge jazz fan. I love big band I studied musical theatre, and thats where I found old jazz standards.

That jazz sound, which inspired Baxters 2020 EP Placebo, earned her frequent comparisons to Amy Winehouse.

When you first start in the industry, you latch onto that, Baxter says. Its very hard to get away from who people compare you to when you start.

But upon finding her music sorted into R&B playlists on Spotify and Apple Music, the singers original reaction was a puzzled one: Huh? Do I do R&B? For Baxter, her songwriting takes precedence over any aim for her sound.

I love to write so much, she says. I never really wanted to be a singer. I always wanted to be a writer. English was my thing when I was in school. Oh my god, I could have written essays for days!

Shes looking forward to sharing some long-form writing on her new Substack in the coming months, and she has no dearth of topics to delve into.

Ive got a page in my notes that has 30 topics I want to write about, Baxter says. Ten years ago, I had a blog, and I found some of the old things I was writing about. Its a really powerful way for me to communicate some of the time. Im not very good at the whole influencing, face-to-camera business, so sometimes I like to be able to say things in a different way.

Baxter hopes her writing can reach beyond her musical audience.

Its cool to pull that down into a different medium and share it on a larger scale, so other people can get an understanding, she says. Sometimes it doesnt connect through the music for people sometimes they just enjoy music because it sounds nice, which is absolutely fine. Music is meant to serve a number of different purposes, isnt it?

The announcement follows the news about their upcoming album everyone for ten minutes, out May 22. The group said that the record, despite the moments where it briefly "peers into darkness", is essentially "optimistic, lovestruck and hopeful."

The group have released three singles from the record, including 'the van,' 'dirty wedding dress,' and 'you and forever,'alongside an accompanying video featuring Margaret Qualley.

everyone for ten minutes follows Bleachers' self-titled 2024 record, which was the band's first album under Dirty Hit and their own label, Bleachers Band Recordings, having departed from RCA Records in August 2023.

Bleachers are fronted by thirteen-time Grammy Award-winning artist Jack Antonoff, who isalso an accomplished producer. He co-wrote and co-produced Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet and Man's Best Friend. Most of Kendrick Lamar's Grammy-winning album GNX was also co-written and produced by him.

Antonoff was also Taylor Swift's longtime producer, working with her since 2013, when they co-wrote 'Sweeter Than Fiction.' He worked on Swift's subsequent albums, including Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights.

Bleachers have released a total of four studio albums, since their 2014 debut Strange Desire. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the record, the group reimagined and re-recorded it, releasing A Stranger Desired.

Formed in 2013, the band comprises Antonoff, Mikey Freedom Hart, Sean Hutchinson, Evan Smith, Michael Riddleberger, and Zem Audu.

The Bowie project The Best Of Bowie was launched in 2021 by Bowies former producer / bassist Visconti and drummer Woodmansey, featuring long-time fan and friend Heaven 17s Gregory plus the all-star Holy Holy band.

The band is set ti perform iconic hits and cult classics from Bowies extensive back catalogue with Visconti on bass.

Visconti is known for playing on Bowies first two records and went on to produce ten of his albums throughout his career, while drummer Woody performed and recorded with Bowie during his Ziggy Stardust era as one of The Spiders From Mars.

Gregory also sang alongside Bowie on the original Band Aid single in 1984. and is the frontman of the Holy Holy project.

Since Holy Holy formed back in 2014, Woodmansey commented, weve played to hundreds of thousands of Bowie fans around the world. From the audience response to the energy within the band, weve shared some truly amazing and unforgettable evenings together. Weve toured the UK, Japan, Europe and the US and every time the music connects just as powerfully.

This upcoming tour feels especially meaningful, he continued. With the V&A Bowie exhibition now open, the recent preservation of Bowies legacy through the National Heritage Trust, and the 10th anniversary of Davids untimely passing, it feels like the right moment to come together again and celebrate what this music still means.

Theres a widespread assumption that Limerick hip-hop outfit Rusangano Family are a political band. But the trio are wary of kneejerk labels and practically flinch when I drop the P word.

They have strongly held beliefs about the state of the world today make no mistake. Forty-eight hours after the Brussels bombings, mankinds apparently endless determination to inflict horror upon itself is, for instance, very much on their minds.

But should you have come to the banks of the Shannon hoping for incisive analysis of the recent general election, then youve knocked on the wrong doors. If Rusangano are political, it is on their own terms. They wont, for instance, be sharing their innermost musings on a Fianna Fail-Fine Gael coalition or what the deluge of Independent TDs tells us about the condition of Ireland in 2016. Lectures and pat sermons simply arent their bag. Theyre smarter, more subtle than that.

This is probably the third interview where somebodys gone, Oh, youre a political band, says producer mynameisjOhn (his first name is indeed John). The truth is that none of us are into politics. Were into people. We cant give definitive answers. All we can do is think and try to talk about the struggles which everyone is going through in the 21st century.

Limerick has shaped the groups gritty, free-wheeling music. They appreciate the city for its authenticity and sense of apartness. Theres nowhere else in Ireland quite like the midwest capital and nobody else making hip-hop that sounds like Rusangano Familys enthralling mash-up of rhymes and rhythms. These they deploy to devastating effect on their debut album, Let The Dead Bury The Dead.

Putting yourself out there, showing sides of yourself to the whole world. That was tough, says rapper MuRli, originally from Togo and now resident In Limerick (the keening hymnals his grandfather would sing at funerals in Togo helped shape his distinctive rapping). But the actual making of the project was a lot of fun. It helped us get to know each other better. Our art is about representing where Ireland is. It would be foolish not to look back but were also trying to look forward.

The third member of the triptych is rapper God Knows, who comes from Zimbabwe and grew up in Ennis. As with MuRli hes been based in Ireland for much of his life and reacts with surprise when asked if he brings an outsider perspective to his lyrics.

In the literal rather than artistic sense, none of Rusangano see themselves as outsiders theyre Irish and everything they do is from that vantage point. Those slapping on Let The Dead Bury The Dead in the expectation of something other than 100 per cent homegrown hip-hop are in for a letdown. Theyre exotic only if you think that anywhere past Celbridge should be marked here be Healy-Raes on the map. In fact, you could argue that, living in what Dubliners might call the provinces, Rusangano talk about Ireland more authentically than the capitals crop of SoCoDu-spawned middle-class indie bands with American inflections.

We dont want to focus on the petty things the stereotypes about being a non-national, says the chipper MuRli, who moved here with his family when he was 12. The group started out as solo artists who fell into one anothers orbit. mynameisjOhn was producing an early MurRli EP when it dawned on all involved that they were better as a team than occasional collaborators. Limerick rap musics answer to the Avengers was born.

Hip hop is a career as well as a passion. All three work with local social inclusion groups, using music to broaden the horizons of disadvantaged youngsters. They give workshops around the city, showing kids from deprived areas that rap can be a valid means of expression and that finding your inner voice is a first step in making a better life for yourself.

One thing that we are all trying to get across is the perspective of what it is to be a hip-hop act based in the West of Ireland, says mynameisjOhn. We are not trying to emulate anyone else. Limerick has its own sound. We are quite proud to say we are contributing to that. Our goal is to be of the West of Ireland in as authentic a fashion as possible

If you wanted to push the point, you might argue that Rusangano Family are Rubberbandits minus the plastic bags and scatological humour, but with the same sharp brand of social commentary.

Blindboy Boatclub from Rubberbandits has talked about using art in a controversial way, resumes mynameisjOhn, The best art is controversial because it gets people talking. We dont always set out to be controversial. But it is definitely something we have taken on board.

I cant sit down with one of Irelands most acclaimed hip-hop crews and not ask the big question of our time. Kanye West: mad or genius? I dont think Kanyes music impacts on us in terms of our process of creation, says God Knows.

If you talk about his career Ive always said that The College Dropout is hugely influential, says MuRli. Hes been my go to guy for a long time. I dont listen to him before I write or anything. But I am who I am today because of The College Dropout and Late Registration. You can say hes a despicable person or whatever. The fact is those records stand up. I wouldnt be doing what I am without them.

Little Mix, the British girl group that formed on the eighth series of The X Factor, was the first group and the only girl group to win the original UK series. The line-up consisted of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and previously Jesy Nelson until her departure in 2020.

Leigh-Anne's My Ego Told Me solo tour kicked off with an exiting debut, a significant shift from her previous Dublin performance with Little Mix at the 3Arena. The move to the smaller Academy venue required Leigh-Anne to adjust to a more intimate setting and audience, a trajectory often opposite to the standard rise of a pop star.

The stage setup was stripped-back, featuring only a drum kit, a mic stand, and two shattered mirrors marked with the words 'my ego told me'. Leigh-Anne made a dramatic entrance from the venue's top floor, descending to join her backing dancer on stage.

From the first note, her vocals were flawless, and her dance skills sharp, showcasing Leigh-Anne not just as a singer, but a seasoned performer, a testament, perhaps, to her extensive training with Little Mix. The dingy, cramped nature of The Academy felt at odds with her full-glam presentation, blaring lights, and commanding stage presence.

A stark nervousness, emerged between songs. Despite this, the opening night marked the reigniting of a new pop star era, and Leigh-Anne openly shared her excitement about her new music and return to touring. She explained how she has spend this past year getting to know herself and finding her own identity. This tour acts as a culmination of this self-reflection, showcasing her new identity to her old audience.

Leigh-Anne expressed how her journey back to the spotlight, following being dropped by her record label in 2025, has clearly been fraught with challenges. The nights theme was reinvention, an expression of her struggle to find an identity as an independent artist after years in a group, a journey deeply reflected in both her music and her performance.

Songs like 'Revival' immediately set a tone of palpable confidence and defiance. Leigh-Anne seemed to have remembered "who's running this town" and was eager to prove it. She revealed that tracks like 'Best Version of Me' and 'Dead and Gone' were written after she wanted to make her comeback. With lyrics like, "Throw the dirt on the grave/ No she cant be saved/ Shes dead and gone," it is clear that the old Leigh-Anne is deceased, and an entirely new artist has been resurrected.

The show also featured a touching 'You are a Star' interlude, voiced by Leigh-Anne's grandmother, reminiscing about Leigh-Anne's ambition dating back to The X Factor. The cheering crowd of fans clearly impacted Leigh-Anne, who seemed near tears from the amount of support she was given.

Having previously discussed the casual racism experienced within Little Mix, it is significant to see Leigh-Anne fully embrace her identity and lean into a mix of genres rather than adhering strictly to mainstream pop.

Her new pop career is surging with a unique blend of Afrobeat and reggae influences. Energetic and intricate performances of songs like 'Tight Up Skirt,' which echo the style of Tyla or early Rihanna, showcase this shift.

Though Leigh-Anne still has a way to go before headlining the 3Arena on her own, the message is clear: she is ready for a new chapter, one where she is fully in control of the direction.

The show is part of the indie rock singer-songwriter's KV's Been Good To Me European & UK tour, which is in support of his upcoming album Philadelphia's been good to me, set to be released on May 29.

"This is my bringing it all back home to Philly record," Vile said. "I'm treating it like my last one. I put everything into it. It's my best vocal record. It's my best electric guitar record. It's my most organic record, made in the comfort of my own zone."

Kurt Vile's performance will feature special guests Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse band.

Vile is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Founding member and former lead guitarist of rock band War on Drugs, Vile left the group shortly after their first record, Wagonwheel Blues, was released in 2008 to focus on his solo career.

Since the release of his debut solo albumConstant Hitmaker in 2008, Vile has released nine solo studio records.

The Devil Wears Prada 2follows Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), who struggles against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant turned rival executive, "as they compete for advertising revenue amid declining print media, while Miranda nears retirement," according to the synopsis.

The new cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Pauline Chalamet, BJ Novak, and more.

Gaga is also set to appear in the film. The Devil Wears Prada 2 marks her first big-screen appearance since Joker: Folie Deux. She also appeared in a cameo role on Netflix's season 2 of Wednesdaylast year. The 2026 Grammies saw her win two awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem and Best Dance Pop Recording for 'Abracadabra.'

Doechii had her breakthrough in 2021, when a few of her songs, including 'Yucky Blucky Fruitcake' went viral on TikTok. Her second mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal (2024), which peaked within the top ten of the Billboard 200, won Best Rap Album at the 67th Grammy Awards, making her the third woman to win the category. Last year saw her win Billboard's Woman of the Year award.

Gaga praised Doechii in her 2025 interview with British Vogue, where she said: "You dont often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. Thats Doechii to me. I fell in love with her music and her raw, deeply personal perspective."

"The power in her words, her vulnerability, the way she rhymes with this wild mix of audacity and emotional precision it struck me to the core," she added.

Based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel, the original The Devil Wears Prada film follows aspiring journalist Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway), who is hired at a fashion magazine and finds herself at the mercy of its demanding editor-in-chief (Streep). The 2006 film was a box office hit, grossing $346 million (302 million) against its $41 million (35 million) budget.

The Devil Wears Prada 2is set to hit cinemas on May 1.

The comedian is said to bring a unique performance that blends poetry and comedy, exploring themes of identity, belonging and the human condition.

Alok Vaid-Menon, known as ALOK, is an American non-binary transfeminine comedian, writer, poet, performance artist, and actor. Their work addresses violence against trans and gender non-conforming people and critiques constraining gender norms.

In 2024, they featured in Netflix's comedy special Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda and released their own comedy special BIOLOGY!, which was executive-produced by Christopher Guest.

ALOK has published three books: Femme in Public(2017), Beyond the Gender Binary(2020), and Your Wound, My Garden(2021).

Elsewhere, they have a short self-titled documentary directed by Alex Hedison, which premiered in 2024 at the Sundance Film Festival.

A spokesperson of the former member of Atlanta-based hip-hop trio Migos stated that the 34-year-old American rapper is in stable condition and being closely monitoredin the hospital.

"Seminole Police were on the site immediately and the situation was contained quickly," a representative of the Seminole County police told TMZ.

"Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public."

Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known as Offset, began his career in Migos. The trio was formed in 2008 by Offset, Takeoff and Quavo.

In 2022, Migos disbanded, with Quavo and Takeoff forming their own duo - Unc & Phew - and Offset pursuing a solo career.

That same year, Takeoff was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas.

"I've been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it's reality, and reality feels like a nightmare," Offset said at the time. "Even though I know you will always be with us, throw me a lil sign or a beautiful dream."

The decision comes after widespread backlash to Wests, legally known as Ye, planned set at the London festival this summer, over his previous antisemetic, racist and pro-Nazi comments.

In a statement, Festival Republic said: "The Home Office has withdrawn Ye's ETA, denying him entry into the United Kingdom. As a result, Wireless festival is cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket-holders.

"As with every Wireless Festival, multiple stakeholders were consulted in advance of booking Ye and no concerns were highlighted at the time.

"Antisemitism in all its forms is abhorrent, it concluded, and we recognise the real and personal impact these issues have had. As Ye said today, he acknowledges that words alone are not enough, and in spite of this still hopes to be given the opportunity to begin a conversation with the Jewish community in the UK."

Organisers also confirmed that refunds will be issued to all ticket-holders.

Ye made an application to travel to the UK via an Electronic Travel Authorisation on Monday, and while it is understood that the application was initially granted online, it was later rescinded by Home Office ministers on the grounds that his presence in the country would be un-constructive to public good.

Last year, the rapper released a song titled Heil Hitler and shared multiple antisemetic conspiracy theories on social media. He also sold T-shirts featuring a swastika, and in 2022 stated that he was going death con 3 on Jewish people as well as, I see good things about Hitler.

Some of his major business partnerships were terminated over these actions, including GAP and Adidas ending their agreements with his Yeezy brand.

Earlier this year, Ye took out a full-page advert in the Wall Street Journal to apologise for his antisemetic behaviour, attributing the outbursts to his diagnosis with bipolar disorder.

Regarding Yes statement, The Board of Deputies of British Jews noted to The Telegraph that the latest apology came on the eve of the release of a new album."

Following the ban, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said: "Kanye West should never have been invited to headline Wireless

"This Government stands firmly with the Jewish community, and we will not stop in our fight to confront and defeat the poison of antisemitism.

"We will always take the action necessary to protect the public and uphold our values."

A spokesperson for Campaign Against Antisemitism also commented on the UK governments decision, writing in a statement: "With no headliner and multiple sponsors dropping out, Wireless has had to cancel the festival.

"How did it come to this? Apparently 'no concerns were highlighted' about Kanye West at the time of the booking. Who were they consulting? A wall? That's what happens when the only stakeholders you speak to are those who stand to make a profit.

The group added: "It's nice that now Wireless is saying 'Antisemitism in all its forms is abhorrent' when just a few hours ago the festival promoter was saying we all need to forgive Kanye for declaring himself a full-blown Nazi only recently."

The video marks Carpenter's directorial debut, which she co-directed with actress Margaret Qualley (The Substance). The video also features actress Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks, Knives Out ).

The trio is seen ransacking a mansion in an homage to Sofia Coppolas 2013 film, The Bling Ring, which followed fame-obsessed teenagers who tracked and burgled celebrities' homes. In the 'House Tour,' video Carpenter and her co-stars pose as members of the "Pretty Girl" cleanup crew, a nod to the lyrics, "My house is on pretty girl avenue / My house was especially built for you", as they rob the mansion.

True to Carpenters style, the video is packed with references. These include Qualley reading the book Are You There, Margaret? and Carpenter stealing a Grammy, a reference to her six nominations and zero wins at this year's Grammy Awards.

Carpenter is set to headline Coachella this Friday, building on her festival debut performance of Espresso in 2024.

On Friday, April 10, Galway band NewDad will be kicking off the Irish action at Coachella with a performance at 4pm PST (midnight Irish time) on the Gobi stage.

The Gobi stage is also where you can catch CMAT, just a few hours later, at 6.15pm PST (2.15am Irish time).

Friday will also see Galway producer Kettama performing in Coachella's Yuma tent, at 6pm PST (2am Irish time) however, like last year, it appears only Weekend 2 of Yuma will be livestreamed.

Sunday:

Jazzy, meanwhile, will be playing the Quasar stage at 4pm PST (midnight Irish time) on Sunday, April 12, as part of a busy run of US dates for the chart-topping Dublin star.

Other acts set to perform at Coachella this weekend include Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, The Strokes, The xx, Karol G, David Byrne, Addison Rae and Jack White.

The album was announced via a video on social media, which featured a 1980s Nissan 300ZX and the tagline In The Flesh, Its Even Sexier.

Reality Awaits comes more than 6 years after The Strokess 2020 album, The New Abnormal, which won a Grammy that year for Best Rock Album. The New Abnormal, in turn, was released 7 years after the album before it, Comedown Machine.

Speaking on the long gap between albums in an interview after the release of The New Abnormal, bassist Nikolai Fraiture said, Its just a matter of when it feels right to put something out, and when it feels right for all of us, based on what we're all doing in our lives.

Since The New Abnormal, the band members of The Strokes have been pursuing a number of different projects on their own: 2023 saw a solo album from guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. and an EP from Fraitures band Summer Moon; 2024 saw an album from lead singer Julian Casablancass band The Voidz and an EP from guitarist Nick Valensis band CRX.

The Strokes are set to play at Coachella this weekend, and will be playing at a number of different festivals this summer, including Bonaroo, Outside Lands, and the Sea.Hear.Now Festival.

Honouring the two late Irish musicians,Songs in the Key of O includes both tribute covers as well as original tracks composed by O'Shea and two-time Grammy Award-winning producer Marc Swersky.

Elsewhere, the album features several collaborators, including Rob Clores, Brad Butcher, Michelle Moore, The Carlile Family band, Aaron Comess, Hothouse Flowers' Liam Maonla, and more.

Last week, O'Shea released a track from the album, a cover featuring James Maddock, of Sined O'Connor's song If U Ever. The cover highlights the New Jersey-based artist's signature AmeriCeltiCana style, combining Americana influences with a Celtic twist.
