The Wellington Weekender Dublin music, food and drink festival is set to return on June 29th.
The festival which takes place across the Workman’s Club, Bison Bar & BBQ and WOW Burgers runs over 3 days and will play host to a number of performances from many superb artists. On Friday 29th June David Kitt will perform at the Main Venue, fresh off the release of his first solo record in nine years.
Saturday in the Venue Bar will see journalist Jim Carroll and Bell X1’s Paul Noonan sit down to chat about Noonan’s 20 years in the industry, while visitors can browse trinkets and treats at the Flea Market on the First Floor. Later in the evening the party will be kept going with Booka Brass set to take the stage at the Workman’s Club for a no doubt unmissable show.
Over in The Liquor Rooms on Saturday night DJ Eddie Temple-Morris will be spinning some serious beats while the bartenders whip up cocktails.
Sunday will see comedian Fred Cooke bring his unique comedy stylings to the Main Venue.
On top of all that Bison Bar will be holding a number of whiskey tastings across the entire weekend with over 150 whiskeys to sample. Attendees also feeling peckish can treat themselves to some prime BBQ dishes at Bison Bar, while WOW will be cooking up their signature burgers all weekend at the Terrace in the Workman’s Club
