The multi-instrumental solo artists will perform a number of gigs across Ireland in the upcoming summer months
Following a massive performance at Body&Soul in June, ROE announced a fresh set of tour dates.
The 19-year-old Irish singer from Derry is a up-and-coming performer in the music industry. The teen’s self-styled “grumpy electro-pop” has brought her from venues like the BBC Introductory stage to Output and The Great Escape. Her performances include synths and drum machines accompanied by a guitar.
She just releases a lyric video for her most recent single, ‘Hey Thomas’, which criticizes bullies and promotes self-acceptance.
“ 'Hey Thomas' is a call out to bullies everywhere. I wrote this song for anyone who has ever been picked on, pushed around, teased or made to feel small because they look or act or dress differently to what’s labelled as normal. You should be able to do what makes you feel good without feeling self-conscious because of other people’s small-minded judgements. Their opinions don’t matter, and as long as you’re happy then who cares what they think,” ROE said.
Her previous single, ‘Wasted.Patient.Thinking’, garnered 13,000 streams on Spotify.
