Citywide Enthusiasm
Speaking about Cork City Council's willingness to put on this event, The Coronas and Fangclub manager Jim Lawless (pictured furthest from the left) said:

“They couldn’t have been more enthusiastic or welcoming of the event. If you look at two of the world’s most influential industry showcase events in the world - SXSW in Austin, Texas and Eurosonic in Groningen, Holland - they’re both in cities where you can go, ‘Meet you round the corner in five minutes.’ That's part of the appeal with Cork. As much business gets done informally like that as it does in offices.”
Already announced for the Music Cork Showcase are:
Fangclub, Lyra, Le Boom, Ailbhe Reddy, Alex & Echoes, Barq, Cry Harridan, Super Silly, Little Hours and Rob Burch and final acts still to be announced.
In addition to this, there will be opportunities for attendees to network with some of the industry's top minds on the Music Cork Pub Crawls, at a networking breakfast and during Friday's Networking Day Trip.
Tickets for MusicCork start at €105 for earlybird passes, and €155 for Delegate passes. See musiccork.com for more details.
