DJ Proudfoot, Rathfarnam Ukulele Group, Keturah, Brian Whittington, and Military Road are confirmed for the upcoming festival.
With Dollymount Strand's Battle for the Bay coming up on May 20-21, new acts have been confirmed on the lineup. On the main stage, DJ Proudfoot, Rathfarnam Ukulele Group, Keturah, Brian Whittington, Military Road and King Kong Band will play throughout Saturday, while Monkey Bath, Loisinana Six, The Jive Cats, Dublin City Round Cats and Retro Fix will take over on Sunday. That's not all though, as a whole other stage has been added to the festival this year. The Downda Road stage will host such acts as Midnight Therapy, Elga Fox and Keith Plunkett on Saturday, and Sina Thiel, Dreaming of Jupiter, Elly D and Davie Furey on Sunday.
For the more athletically inclined, there will be fitness classes including bootcamps, yoga, zumba, step aerobics on the beach, as well as the very first Battle for the Bay Fitness Competition. Then, of course, there is the competition Battle for the Bay itself, in which kitesurfers and paddle boarders will take each other on in both race and freestyle competitions.
