Even with his new album coming out October 6, there are some things Liam Gallagher won't do to promote it- or at least we now know there's one thing. When asked in a recent interview with GQ whether he would ever appear on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke- a possibility that honestly hadn't occurred to us here at Hot Press and probably not James Corden either, Gallagher responded with, "No fucking chance, mate. With that fat bloke from Kevin and Perry?"
At this point his partner Debbie Gwyther pointed out that he instead must mean the sitcom Gavin & Stacey, which Corden starred on back in the late 2000s. "It's called Gavin & Stacey and you've never watched it," Gwyther said.
"I don't need to watch it to know I won't like it," Gallagher retorted. "James Corden is a knobhead." Sorry to disappoint.
In another recent interview, Liam predicted that his brother Noel would actually enjoy his upcoming album.
"I think he will dig it, without a doubt, and he'll come out and say it like a good boy, you know what I mean?" he said. "He'll come out and go, 'That's a good fucking album.' But deep down he'll be fucking going, 'That little fucker,' you know what I mean?"
The album in question, As You Were, comes out October 6.
