Tour, album, supporting Ash...busy days for FKOS
The Future Kings of Spain have a chock- a- block schedule for the winter months, with some juicy gigs and a new LP in the pipe line.
On October 3 Ash will be headlining a once- off gig at King John’s Castle, Limerick, and Dublin's own FKOS have been asked to support the Northern rockers for this show only.
But that just marks the beginning of a succession of gigs involving the Kings...they will also be playing a double-header with Republic Of Loose at UCD on Thursday November 4.
The band are then heading back into the studio in December to finish work on their new album and decide on a producer; the record's due out on Red Flag Records in Spring 2005.
Playing tunes from both albums, the boys continue with an Irish & UK tour in November, and plan to return to Japan for some dates as their debut went down particularly well there selling over 20, 000 copies!
And if this wasn't hectic enough, Bryan, Joey and Tony also form three- fifths of A Lazarus Soul, headed by ex- Sub Assembly's Brian Brannigan. A Lazarus Soul have just finished their debut EP, and they play with Crumb in Dublin's Hub on September 16.
