ShamRock tribute music festival two weeks away
Seventy acts on three stages will pay homage to rock n’ roll classics and more in the largest international tribute band fest ever
They aren't quite the real thing, but ShamRock performers will give the greats a run for their money. The three-day long festival will include headliners the Classic Beatles, a Dublin quartet who've worked with Beatles producer Sir George Martin, The Fillers and Live/Wire. Faux favorites She & Hum, Guns 2 Roses, Coldplace, Oasish and Greendate will also play, among others.
The festival isn't all tribute: An Original Acts Stage will feature 26 up and coming unsigned Irish acts while funny men PJ Gallagher, Jason Byrne and Jon Kenny take the Comedy stage. Watch for the Vibes, known for hit single 'Just Another Love Song' and Cavan locals Shouting At Planes.
ShamRock takes place between July 2 and 4 at the Cavan Equestrian Centre. Visit [link]www.shamrockmusicfestival.com[/link] for event details and ticket information.
