Planetlove comes to Meath
Dance fans are in for a double treat as Planetlove WKD dance music festival, run in the North, will now host a simultaneous event in the Republic.
The ninth annual Planetlove WKD Festival 2007, planned for Shane’s Castle, Co Antrim, will now take place alongside the Planetlove Summer Session in Fairyhouse Racecourse, Co Meath.
Already confirmed for Co. Antrim - bearing in mind there'll be a large crossover between the two line-ups - are Paul van Dyk (pictured), Above & Beyond, Eddie Halliwell, Alex Kidd, Judge Jules, Shitdisco and more. For those with a more guitar-based frame of mind, there'll also be Babyshambles and The Futureheads.
Many artists playing both the festivals on September 8 will be transported between the two venues by a fleet of helicopters.
The Planetlove is run in association with 2FM in the South and BBC Radio 1 in the North, and features 70 acts as well as bars, a funfair, stalls, food-bars and much more.
For those who aren't able to make it down, 2FM will broadcast live from the Meath.
