PhotoIreland will focus on music photography this Wednesday
Some of Ireland’s top music photographers will be making an appearance at the PhotoIreland Festival at the Centre for Creative Practices in Dublin on Wednesday July 21.
Former Hot Press photographer Naomi McArdle will give a talk about Irish music photography and the differences between digital and traditional methods of photography.
There will also be talks from Hugh McCabe and Loreana Rushe who has worked with some of Ireland’s best up-and-coming bands.
Joining them will be the new breed of music photographers such as Alessio Michelini, Alan Moore and Kieran Frost who have already made a name for themselves in the world of music photography.
There will also be live music on the night with Riona Sally Hartman, Drunken Boat and You Kiss By The Book providing some acoustic entertainment.
