Muzsicas cancel Kilkenny Castle show
Hugarian group Muzsikas have been forced to cancel their scheduled performance at Kilkenny Castle tonight (July 8).
Severe weather conditions in Budapest have meant that Hungarian folk group Muzsikas won't be able to make their Kilkenny Castle show tonight (July 8).
The band are unable to fly out as the airport they were due to travel from closed last night, and the earliest flight they can now take is tomorrow.
As a result the band will no longer play their scheduled show in The Great Hall, Kilkenny Castle, tonight, which they were set to play as part of the OPW's Salon Music festival. But organisers say the band's other two Irish dates, at The Long Gallery, Castletown House, Celbridge (July 9) and The Ballroom, Farmleigh, Phoenix Park (July 10), will still go ahead as planned.
Other acts set to play as part of the festival include The English Acoustic Collective and Lunfardia.
