An irregular acting man was arrested outside the mansion of country-pop singer Taylor Swift.

At least ten police officers raced to the 26-year-olds Los Angeles house, after a shady looking white male was observed acting suspiciously around her driveway.

The unidentified man was arrested at 4pm wearing a cameo green jacket, grey hoody and dark trousers. Sources told TMZ that a neighbour informed the police about a male loitering "around Taylor Swift's house."

The man didn't resist arrest, was handcuffed and placed in the back of a LAPD car. Reporters at the scene were informed the suspect could be placed in hospital for an evaluation. He has not been charged with any crime at this time.
