Laurie Anderson announces Irish date

Laurie Anderson does her maverick art rock thing in the Dublin Olympia on October 28 and 29.
These “work in progress” shows find Lou Reed’s missus performing material from her upcoming Homeland album, which is due in early 2008.
Last here for October 2006’s Point Theatre tribute to Leonard Cohen, she’ll be accompanied by a four-piece band and “spontaneous lighting and video visuals mixed live throughout the performance.”
Also confirming an Olympia visit on August 21 are Sub Pop recording artistes The Shins.
