Lambchop announce Tripod headliner
Kurt Wagner's alt-country group Lambchop will play Dublin on November 1.
The Tripod show will follow the release of 10th album Oh (ohio), on which resides contender for song title of the year 'National Talk Like A Pirate Day.'
"Lambchop more and more has become a vehicle for my songs and myself as an artist," said Wagner recently. "I've fought against that interpretation for twenty years, but now I've just given up trying to fight it anymore. I am simply going to accept that this is how it's evolved and leave it to others to define."
Yo La Tengo and Sleater-Kinney producer Roger Moutenot has been drafted in to accompany Mark Nevers in producing the record, due in October.
Tickets for the gig go onsale on Monday July 28 at 9am, priced €24.50 and €32.50.
