Katell Keineg announces Irish date
The Breton-Welsh singer is back in Kerry next week
Having released details of a free single by Katell Keineg last May, Hot Press is proud to reveal that the artist is returning to these shores for an intimate set in McCarthy’s of Dingle.
The Breton Welsh artist, who lived in Ireland for many years, is playing in the Kerry venue this July 4.
Described as a ‘musician’s musician’, Keineg did a brief stint in Sinead O’Connor’s band, and counts among her fans rock n’ roll luminaries such as Iggy Pop.

The former city-centre citizen and Sin-é artist-in-residence will take to the stage in the centuries-old pub and venue next Wednesday.
