It's that time of year again!
Our very special Northern Ireland issue is on sale now, and features an exclusive 17-track Glasgowbury festival compilation. What's more, readers in Northern Ireland can get this issue for the reduced price of just £2!
Hot Press is delighted to present, for your listening pleasure, the Glasgowbury 2011 Album, a stunning collection of tracks by acts appearing at Glasgowbury on Saturday July 23. The album kicks off with Cashier No.9's 'Goldstar' (an office favourite here at HP Towers) and romps through a crackerjack recording with Mojo Fury, Phil Kieran, Kowalski and loads more brilliant acts along the way! The free album includes 17 excellent tracks in all, bringing together a plethora of artists that are set to grace the North’s legendary rock festival next weekend.
There's no shortage of magnificent music coming of out Northern Ireland right now and to celebrate, Hot Press talks to bands bound for Derry on July 23 in the new issue. We also remember some of our favourite albums to come out of the North and there’s in-depth pre-event coverage of this year’s Glasgowbury festival, a celebration of all that’s best in music culture.
