Headgear: New album & tour details
The extremely wonderful Headgear limber up for the release of their new album with shows in Dolan’s, Limerick (January 31); Whelan’s, Dublin (February 4); The Old Oak, Cork (5); Roisin Dubh, Galway (10); and McGarrigle’s, Sligo (March 3).
Due next month, Flight Cases is unashamedly described as “a concept album” by mainman Darragh Dukes who’s kindly streaming four of the tracks – ‘Harry Truman’, ‘Mr. Petit’, ‘Airborne’ and ‘The Man Who Flew In’ – on his www.myspace.com/headgearmusic page.
Clarinet is supplied by Dukes’ County Limerick neighbour Pat Shortt.
