First four Ramones albums to be reissued this Friday
“Hey! Ho! Let’s Go!” The first four albums by The Ramones will be rereleased on vinyl this Friday July 18.
The punk legend’s label Rhino are reissuing the classic albums – Ramones (1976), Leave Home (1977), Rocket To Russia (1977) and Road To Ruin (1978) – using lacquers cut from the original analog masters.
The reissue of Leave Home will include the song ‘Carbona Not Glue’ which was on the first pressing of the album but was replaced by ‘Sheena Was A Punk Rocker’ on all subsequent pressings.
These four landmark albums contain such unforgettable songs as: ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’, ‘Sheena Is Punk Rocker’, ‘Beat On The Brat’, ‘Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue’, ‘Pinhead’, ‘Rockaway Beach’ and ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’.
