Feist wins Shortlist Music Prize

Asked to describe the Canadian’s The Reminder album, the Snow Patrol man gushes: “It’s modern and classic all at once. There are so many kinds of beauty in this record.”
The Shortlist is the North American equivalent of the Choice and the Mercury, it saw Ms. Feist beating off stiff competition from the likes of Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem and MIA.
