Having scored the first Irish No. 1 album of the year last week, Sheeran remains immovable at the chart summit.
A record with real legs, x by Ed Sheeran is once again the biggest-selling album in the country this week, some 29 weeks after it first debuted on the Irish Albums Chart.
It was just announced today that Mr. Sheeran will be appearing in Whelan's on January 24 to film a Storytellers special for VH1.
A similarly massive album, Hozier's eponymous debut, remains in second place. Just below, Taylor Swift's 1989 and Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour trade places, now at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. George Ezra sees his Wanted On Voyage rise a place to round off the Top 5.
It is an incredibly placid chart this week, with the highest new entry coming from Guns N' Roses. Their Greatest Hits re-enters at No. 35, while Royal Blood's debut re-enters just below.
Over on the Indie Chart, Damien Rice big comeback album My Favourite Faded Fantasy jumps a spot to become this week's No. 1. Last week's victors Arctic Monkeys see their AM tumble to third position, with London Grammar's If You Wait placed in between.
