The pair have announced plans for a short tour around the country.
Dublin born six-string wizard Eamonn McCormack has been earning a reputation as one of the finest blues guitarists out there in recent times and he'll bolster his hard rock credentials even further this summer when he hits the road with legendary axeman Brian 'Robbo' Robertson. Having previously collaborated with the likes of Jan Akkerman, Keith Donald and the late Rory Gallagher on his Kindred Spirits LP, McCormack will be joined by the Thin Lizzy and Motorhead man for a six-day jaunt around Ireland.
Things kick off at An Cruiscin Lan in Cork on Thursday May 31 before rumbling on to The Kenyon in Nenagh, Tipperary, on June 1. The duo then play The Jester in Westport, Mayo, on June 2 before two shows on June 3. They're in Diamond Rock in Ballymena at 3pm before a 9pm gig at Dundalk's Spirit Store. Auntie Annies in Belfast hosts them on June 4 before they wrap up with a show in Whelan's, Dublin, on Tuesday June 5.
McCormack is touring in support of his new release Heal My Faith, whilst Robbo is currently riding high on the wave of acclaim for his long-awaited debut solo album Diamonds & Dirt. Go to [link]eamonnmccormack.net[/link] and [link]robbo.thin-lizzy.com[/link] for further details.
