Music is the victim once again, following the decision that public transport would not operate in Dublin tomorrow...
Django Django have been forced to postpone their Dublin show. The band, fronted by Irishman Vincent Neff recently released their acclaimed third album Marble Skies – which was given a major thumbs-up in Hot Press. The record has reached No.20 in the UK charts.
Scheduled for tomorrow night, in Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre, the show was sold out. However, the weather – which has disrupted entertainment across the country in so many ways – has sparked the decision to put the gig off till later this month.
"Due to the confirmation that public transport will not be operating tomorrow” a spokesperson told Hot Press, "and in the interest of the safety of staff and concert goers, Django Django's sold out show at The Tivoli has been postponed until Tuesday 27th March."
