Cuban jazz legend comes to Dublin this October
The five time Grammy winner and virtuoso pianist, Chucho Valdes will play the National Concert Hall on October 3 along with his new project The Afro Cuban Messengers as part of Walton’s World Masters series.
The 69 year old, who has recorded more than 80 albums, will be playing music from Grammy-winning album Chucho’s Steps.
Previous performances organised by the Waltons New School of Music in recent years include Buena Vista Social Club, Soweto Gospel Choir and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
