Buzzcocks announce 40th birthday Irish tour
Limerick, Galway, Belfast & Dublin will be hit in November
Buzzcocks – we’ve told you before, there is no “the”! – celebrate their 40th birthday with a tour that includes a Dublin Academy stop-off on November 5.
Prior to that they hit Dolan’s, Limerick (2); Roisin Dubh, Galway (3) and the Limelight, Belfast (4).
Along with those southern softies The Clash and the Sex Pistols, the Mancunians were instigators of the ’76 Uprising with the likes of ‘Boredom’, ‘Everybody’s Happy Nowadays’, ‘What Do I Get’, ‘Promises’ and ‘Ever Fallen In Love With’ still sounding shit hot all these years later.
