Belfast Music Week announces its line-up
There are gigs, seminars & panel discussions galore!
Having already unveiled Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. as their special guest act, Belfast Music Week has announced the rest of its September 12 to 19 programme.
There’s no shortage of local talent on display with A Plastic Rose, Panama Kings, LaFaro, Lowly Knights, Mojo Fury, Cashier No. 9 and Skibunny all lined up for showcases.
There’s also a strong educational strand with seminars and panel discussions on such topics as ID and IP – Making The Most Of Your Band’s Brand, From Rock Band To DJ Hero To 100,000 Fans, Music Licensing & Negotiation, Cathedrals Of Sound – The Romance And Reality Of Music Journalism, Music PR & Marketing In The Digital Age and much more.
We’re rather liking the sound of the Terri Hooley Walking Tour (September 13) and the awarding of the Oh Yeah Legends Award to the Good Vibrations man four days later in the Oh Yeah Music Centre (17).
