Alabama 3 Unplugged set for hat-trick of Irish dates

The musical riot on eight feet that is Alabama 3 Unplugged returns to Ireland for dates in Cyprus Avenue, Cork (July 12); Dolan’s, Limerick (13); and Roisin Dubh, Galway (14).
Comprising in this configuration of Larry Love, Aurora Dawn, Rock Freebase and Harpo Strangelove – possibly not their real names – the quartet will be performing in a style redolent of their Delta Blues heroes like Fred MacDowell and Bukka White.
Whether they encounter Kathryn Thomas again along the way as they did at the IFTAs – we’ll tell you sometime over a pint – remains to be seen!
