A Lock of David Bowie's Hair to be Sold
The English icon's hair is up for sale but it will cost you.
A lock of David Bowie's hair, which was cut in the '80s, will be auctioned off this weekend.
The hair comes from a former wig maker for Madam Tussauds' Wax Museum. She cut the hair to assist in making an accurate wig for the wax figure of the rockstar and kept it as a souvenir.
The 'Heroes' legend died in January aged 69 following a battle with cancer.
The auction of the hair will take place in Beverly Hills with large sums expected - the current bid stands at $2,000.
