Conor J O’Brien and co will be joined by the classical trained group s t a r g a z e for their final gig of 2013.
Villagers have announced the finer details of their December 18 show in Dublin’s Vicar St.
The Dublin group will be joined by s t a r g a z e, a group of young classically trained musicians, and will be performing songs from their albums Becoming A Jackal and {Awayland} orchestrally arranged by Villager’s keyboardist and composer Cormac Curran and world renowned composer Nico Muhly.
Support on the night will come from Derry singer-songwriter SOAK and I Have A Tribe.
The band, currently in the midst of their European tour, will be back on Irish soil before Christmas and will play a series of gigs around the country in Belfast, Derry, Galway, Cork and Dublin.

The gigs will cap an excellent 2013 for the band that included once again being nominated for the Mercury Prize and playing gigs in the US, Japan and Australia as well as a string of European dates.
