We'll get our first taste of 'Invisible' during an ad break, after which free iTunes downloads of the single will raise money for charity.
After a Dave Fanning false start last week, we now have confirmation of when exactly we can wrap our ears round the new single from u2.
The Dublin band will debut the Danger Mouse-produced 'Invisible' when they give it a commercial airing during Super Bowl LVIII coverage on Sunday February 2.
Not only that, if you head to iTunes thereafter, the song will be available as a free download for 24 hours. For each download of the song, $1 will be donated by Bank of America — up to a total of $2 million — to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It's all part of the new partnership between U2, BOA and the (RED) charity.
New U2 for free, for a good cause, and getting a massive bank to stump up the cash? Sounds good to us.
