The new U2 photobook, U2 Show: The Art Of Touring, is being published by Riverhead on October 21.
Assembled by photographer Diana Scrimgeour, the 312-page tome includes more than 400 rare photographs and illustrations chronicling the band's live history.
"Diana did an amazing job – it all comes together really well," Riverhead senior editor Sean McDonald tells Billboard. "U2 have put together some pretty spectacular shows over the years from the famous Red Rocks gig to the extravagant Zoo TV and PopMart tours to the much calmer Elevation shows. And the book is appropriately spectacular – lavish when it needs to be, more intimate when it needs to be."

Along with contributions from such heavy hitters as Chris Blackwell, Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Peter Gabriel and Steve Van Zandt, U2 Show also features "the people involved on the ground in putting together a U2 performance like stagehands and the lighting guys. These are the people who have been really involved in making U2 what they are."
