The English rock icons join Adele, Neil Young and Aerosmith with their demand
It's a common occurrence these days for politicians to use music that artists haven't given permission to play. It happened when Tony Blair used Fat Boy Slim's 'Right Here, Write Now', during Labour's campaign for office, and now musicians are banding together to try and stop Presidential candidate Donald Trump using their music.
The latest objectors are the Rolling Stones, joining a growing list of artists including Adele, Neil Young and Aerosmith. During his republican rallies, Trump's been blaring the tunes 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' and 'Start Me Up'.

The band released a statement requesting "that they cease all use immediately". However, the request is unlikely to work, as long as political parties have a blanket music licence covering the group's material. I guess you can't always get what with want Mick.
