Riptide Movement feature in Commitments radio adaptation
BBC Radio 4 is adapting The Commitments as part of a week-long celebration of Roddy Doyle’s work.
Directed by Jim Sheridan, it’s being recorded in a Dublin boozer with live music supplied by The Riptide Movement. Colm Meaney and Damien Molony, last spied in BBC Three TV’s Being Human, are co-starring.
It’ll air in December alongside adaptations of fellow Barrytown Trilogy tomes The Snapper and The Van.
