The Mighty Stef has a brand new end-of-year single ‘Sing To Me’ set for release on Friday, December 11 and has outlined his plans for 2010 exclusively to Hot Press.
“It’s been such a mad year for us”, he told Hot Press during a break from filming a video for ‘Sing To Me’. ”We got the album 100 Midnights out and it’s done really well so far. But we also did a load of festivals, played all over the country and we toured the USA, Scandinavia and Germany as well. I also recently did the song about my disappointment over the Thierry Henry incident. So we wanted to end 2009 on a really high note to mark the end of a really terrific year for us. ‘Sing To Me’ isn’t on the album and it isn’t a Christmas song as such, but some day I’d like to write a real Christmas song.”
Stef also outlined his plans for an even busier 2010. “My dream for next year is to release a single every month on 7” vinyl and download, but not on CD, and then at the end of the year round them all up for a ‘Best of 2010’ CD.”
