As well as playing two major UK summer festivals, the Mighty one will also be releasing a free celebratory single
The Mighty Stef is set to play two big UK festival dates this summer: Reading Festival on August 27 and Leeds Festival on August 29. Stef and his band will play the BBC Radio One Introducing Stage at the festivals - rubbing shoulders with the likes of Guns 'N Roses, The Libertines, Arcade Fire, Queens Of The Stone Age and LCD Soundsystem.
Also on the agenda this summer are appearences at festivals in Norway, Germany, Italy as well as Irish appearances at the Ranelagh Arts Festival and of course, the upcoming Electric Picnic bash in Laois.
To celebrate all this festival fun, The Mighty Stef will be giving away a brand new single 'Thank Christ For The Kids' - an ode to the passion and fashion of alternative youth culture. The track can be dowloaded for free exclusively from [link]www.themightystef.com[/link]

And that's not all! Keeping his fingers in as many pies as humanly possible, Stef will also appear in an upcoming film by London-Irish director Finola Geraghty. Starring Mighty Boosh star Noel Fielding and Keith Allen (father of Lily), it will feature Stef performing his song 'Downtown'. Other Stef tracks on the soundtrack are 'Safe At Home' and the aforementioned 'Thank Christ For The Kids'.
