The Darkness announce Irish club tour
Having played a cracking Olympia gig in 2013, The Darkness have decided to road test material from their new album with an Irish club tour that takes in the Spirit Store, Dundalk (March 6); Nerve Centre, Derry (7); Whelan's, Dublin (8); Monroe's, Galway (13); Dolan's, Limerick (14) and Bridge House, Tullamore (15).
It's been a bumpy ride for the UK hard rockers whose rise to stadium status came to an abrupt halt when frontman Justin Hawkins developed a debilitating drug problem.
Substance abuse knocked on the head, they're once again an enticing live proposition with an arsenal of muscular anthems at their disposal.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday January 15 from the individual venues concerned.
