One of the biggest Irish success stories in recent years, Hot Press gets up close and personal with four Dublin lads who are in the form of their lives.
After The Coronas earned their first ever Irish No. 1 with latest album Trust The Wire at the start of summer, the team at Hot Press decided that it was high-time someone told the full story behind one of the most successful Irish bands of the last ten years.
Over a five-page feature in the newest issue (out tomorrow, August 3), all four members talk to Olaf Tyaransen about ten years of partying and live shows, as well as sharing every high and low along the way.
It's a revelatory interview which looks at the band's origins, how they got to be where they are, and where they plan to go in the future.
Hot Press was front and centre for the band's incredible summer headliners… and the capacity crowds have now become part of the story! We’re publishing not one, but TWO Coronas covers (pictured above) – if you were at the band's Live at the Marquee gig or the Royal Hospital Kilmainham gig, you might spot yourself! The cover on the left – taken at the RHK gig by Kathrin Baumbach – will be available on racks throughout the country, while the cover on the right – taken by Dara Munnis at the Cork gig – will be available exclusively in Cork, as part of our Cork Special feature!

On top of all this, we invited the band to become intrepid Hot Press columnists for the issue. In a special 'Message from the Guest Editor', frontman Danny O'Reilly shares his wisdom about dealing about the music industry.
