They're playing a series of intimate shows in May to coincide with the release of their Wildness album.
Snow Patrol return to Irish live duty with an (by their stadium standards) intimate Irish tour that takes them to the Millennium Forum, Derry (May 11); Opera House, Cork (12); INEC, Killarney (14); Olympia, Dublin (15); Opera House, Wexford (16); Leisureland, Galway (18), and Ulster Hall, Belfast (20) where all the mammies and daddies will doubtless be in attendance. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday March 30.
Gary and the chaps will be showcasing Wildness, their sixth studio album, which drops on May 25.
They've just premiered the video for the lead track, 'Don't Give In', a funky divil of a tune which with its "Fuck up your mind" refrain will doubtless require a radio edit.
In the next issue of Hot Press, our man Stuart Clark talks craft, graft, influences, tattoos and musical friends with Patrolman Johnny McDaid who was in Dublin recently to receive an IMRO Outstanding Achievement Award for his songwriting.
