Award-winning comedian and writer Sean Hughes brings the new Penguins show to his native city.
The youngest ever winner of the coveted 'Perrier Award,' Sean has already had an extraordinarily impressive career.
After his cult hit Sean’s Show on BBC’s Channel 4, the gifted comic has graced both the West End stage and numerous TV shows; most notably as a former team captain on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
Sean recently treated the The Edinburgh Fringe festival to the critically acclaimed Penguins , where he has also won a Fringe First for his short plays, ‘Dehydrated’ and ‘Travellin’ Light’.

Penguins, however, has been described as his best work yet. Multi-layered, thought provoking and utterly hilarious, it brilliantly takes us back to Sean’s upbringing in Dublin, the absurdity of family life, and the toe-curling awkwardness of adolescence. All of which, somehow, has a great deal to do with penguins.
Tickets go on sale next Thursday November 28. They are priced €25.00 (inc. booking fee) and can be purchased from Ticketmaster and the usual outlets nationwide.
