The darlings of the New York underwear party scene, Scissor Sisters, have announced their imminent return to Ireland
Scissors Sisters have been confirmed to play the RDS in Dublin, in what will be their biggest headlining date yet in Ireland.
The band, who have been one of the breakthrough acts of the year, will play the RDS Main Hall on December 28, with tickets going on sale on Friday, September 24.
Prior to that, Scissor Sisters will storm Belfast, playing Kings Hall on December 29. Tickets priced from £22.50 will go on sale Monday, September 27 from the usual outlets.

Scissors Sisters scored their first hit with a cover of Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb' and haven't looked back since, bringing a fresh taste of rock excess and theatricality to the charts with their eponymous debut.
Having featured on the Main Stage at Oxegen this year, they last appeared in Dublin supporting Dido at Marlay Park, making them one of Ireland's most frequent visitors this year.
